Typing for Success!
Don Timoteo is the coolest. We’ve been helping Timoteo and Filiberto learn how to use the computer. Timoteo is about 15 years younger. Filiberto says that there’s always something new to learn. He plans to continue learning until he’s 80. Well, for Filiberto, learning to use the “compu” at 57 is indeed a challenge. Timoteo has taken to typing much like the way a duck takes to water—he has passed through most of the levels of our internet typing program. He’s learned most of the keyboard too. So, when he gets the point where he doesn’t need to use the program anymore, we’re going to start writing e-mails. All the farmers with AGAIG have e-mail addresses—they just don’t have much time in their lives for this type of stuff. But, it is amazing what people can learn to do. I haven’t given up on Filiberto—the competition Timoteo is giving him might just push him forward.
